Scammers like anonymous chat because victims are distracted and matches are plentiful. Learn the patterns once and you will recognize them forever.
Gift card / verification scams
Anyone who asks you to buy cards, send codes, or “verify” with a payment is scamming. Real platforms do not verify humans that way inside a random chat.
Phishing links
Be suspicious of shortened links, “login to continue,” or files that must be downloaded to “see a photo.” Stay inside Chat BI. Do not enter passwords anywhere a stranger sends you.
Romance-on-a-timer
Intense affection in the first few minutes, followed by a request to move to WhatsApp/Telegram and then a money story, is a classic pipeline. You can be friendly without following that path.
Impersonation and “refund” stories
Claims like “I work for Chat BI support” or “send money and I will refund you” are false. Official contact is listed on the site (support@chatbi.live), and staff will not ask you for funds in a match.
Response checklist
Do not pay. Do not share codes. Leave. Report as spam. Tell a friend if you almost fell for it — scams thrive on embarrassment.
