DMCA / Copyright Policy

Last updated: July 10, 2026

Chat BI respects intellectual property rights. This page explains how to report alleged copyright infringement under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and related notice-and-action expectations (including DSA-style copyright complaints).

1. Our position

Users may not share, stream, or distribute material that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark, or other IP rights. We may remove access, end sessions, or ban users who violate this policy. See also our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.

2. Designated agent

Send copyright notices and related correspondence to our designated agent:

  • Email: support@chatbi.live
  • Service: Chat BI (https://chatbi.live)
  • Subject line suggestion: DMCA / Copyright Notice

3. What to include in a notice

To help us process a takedown request, please include as much of the following as possible:

  • A description of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
  • The location on our Service where the material appears (URL, room/session details, date/time, screenshots if available).
  • Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
  • Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full legal name is acceptable for email).

4. How we respond

Upon receiving a complete notice, we will review it and may remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material, restrict the responsible user, and/or take other appropriate action. We may forward the notice to the user who posted or shared the material when we can identify them.

5. Counter-notice

If you believe material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to support@chatbi.live including:

  • Identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the district where your address is located (or any appropriate court if outside the United States), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

6. Repeat infringers

In appropriate circumstances, Chat BI may terminate or permanently ban users who are determined to be repeat infringers.

7. Misrepresentation

Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing (or was removed by mistake) may expose you to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys’ fees.
