Practice a language with strangers on Chat BI

Last updated: July 10, 2026

Use anonymous text or voice chat to practice speaking and writing — prompts, etiquette, and how to keep sessions useful.

Random chat can be a low-pressure way to practice a language because mistakes do not follow you into a permanent profile. A little structure helps.

Pick the right mode

  • Text: great for vocabulary, spelling, and slower thinking
  • Voice: better for pronunciation and listening
  • Video: optional; only if you are comfortable

Start with text if you are nervous. Move to voice when you want speaking practice.

Say your goal early

A clear opener saves mismatched chats:

“Hi! I am practicing English. Want a short conversation about travel?”

If the other person is not interested, skip without taking it personally.

Useful mini-session format

  1. Two-minute introductions (keep personal details light)
  2. One topic (food, hobbies, movies, weekend plans)
  3. Swap corrections only if both people want that
  4. End politely and rematch if you want another round

Boundaries still apply

Language practice is not an excuse for others to harass you, ask for money, or demand socials. Leave when the chat stops being useful or respectful.

Open Connect in text or voice and try a short session.
